MISA is a not-for-profit organization that:

• Provides information and help to people who have moved to Canada from other countries
• Offers resources, workshops and training to other agencies and community groups to assist them as they strive to provide service in a welcoming and sensitive way to people from diverse backgrounds
• Provides opportunities to celebrate diversity, meet people from other cultural backgrounds, and learn about racism and multiculturalism
• Is always looking for volunteers who want to learn and share about multiculturalism
